component inserts rotary clock on a placed or a routed design.

Determines
the rotary ring structure (size, wire thickness, layout, etc.)
and inserts them on appropriate metal layers. |

Selects
appropriate rotary cells (regenerators, dividers, buffers,
invertors, FFs/Latches) as needed, identifies ideal locations
for them and uses the placement capabilities to incrementally
place them legally in the design. |

Allows
the users to create and promote obstructions based on lower
level hierarchical cells or hard-macros to drive the rotary
clock insertion tool. |

Interfaces
with industrial extraction and circuit level simulation tools
to back annotate the timing data into the tool and produce
timing reports with rotary clock. |
